TC's MK3 Golf Colour Concept VR6

TC-DNB

Recommended Posts

It was a sad moment watching my cabby drive away, but i soon forgot all about it once i'd picked this up and driven it home! It's a Jazz blue colour concept with VR6 conversion. 6-2-1 manifold, Milltek exhaust system and ajustable suspension all round. Also has full leather interior (heated Recaros :) ) Rolling on Merc rims thanks to hub adapaters. These will be getting a refurb soon (undecided what colour though....polished/blue/black or other???)

So far i have fitted the Hella twin headlights, LED rear lights, Momo steering wheel and new VR6 mats. Also came with no grill so chucked on a black GTi one from a scrapped Golf in the yard. The motor has been laid up for about 6months so it needed a massive clean inside and out which i had no problem with doing, and also given her a service.

I will be getting rid of the green don't worry!

2.8 V6 lump is amazing, so much torque! I know VW's aren't to everyones taste but this is easily the best driving motor i've owned (and quickest). 0-60 isn't amazing but it hits 150mph (so im told from previous owner). Ive seen 125 and it had loads left in it.

Comments welcome as always :D

Will be following this for sure.

Can I borrow your private test track at some point?

Cool, i'll grab some interior pics at some point. Any opinion on the wheel colour change? I originally wanted black with a polished lip, but now thinking completely polished. Also had the idea of blue but i think it may be too much blue. Blue lip or inserts maybe?

LOL @ your question :))

I dont even like golfs.....

This however is well nice, love the styling, might not be everyones tastes but im all over this!

This car is obnoxious (in a good way) so blue rims would probably be the way to go, or white, anything to make it look rude!
