redmex
My colour coded parts search is moving on! Im only buying very tidy trim when its in the local area.. I just dont want to risk buying through the post and it arriving busted ! So..... After many trips recently to the Breakers buying all sorts, I found a tidy front bumper £20.. Its still got the rubber strip along the bottom.. BTW the NS fog light is still a good one too I still havent seen a mint rear bumper, but know it will turn up eventually http://www.evo-host.co.uk/getimg/30926.jpg And I also got a full 1.8 system completely as new...£25 http://www.evo-host.co.uk/getimg/30927.jpg Sparkie

lee grout
GTI is too samey! If you not doing add ons (spats or splitter) than the accessory skirts on their own look pretty good. Maybe a bit of advertising, evo stickers on the skirts would look good

I've seen RS Acc skirts on escorts of all range (cab, sal, hatch, estate)Yeah I had thought of it, but the bottom edge is 2 inches away from the sill and obviously the closing ends don't reach the arch etc either.Best just look for a hback set. I see some on eBay, but I sure ain't buying them @ £100 wtf?
redmex
I just tried them up to my car.. With a bit of pushing n shoving things shape up better than first thought.. But standing back and looking at them "taped on LOL" I dont think ill put them on Gti set or maybe just wait until the car is Colour coded and c what pops up! So they are up for grabs!! redmex
Well here's my Sunday Morning Im going to show my age when i say this but.... Ive just fitted a Base Tube I've had sat in my loft for at least 15+ years Starting with power, I hate seeing cables lashed in everywhere so a natural choice for getting direct juice from the battery was easy.. Piggy back from the main incomer on the Fuse box.. As Ive done in middle of the pic below.. http://www.evo-host.co.uk/getimg/30973.jpg Strait from that to a beefy inline fuse feeding a switch from a "Saxo" http://www.evo-host.co.uk/getimg/30974.jpg To the 200W Tube.. And it still works @ 20 years old ... http://www.evo-host.co.uk/getimg/30975.jpg while i had the Fuse board down I got you a pic of how I added the extra wire required for 6 speed wipers.. Basicly I drilled a 2.5mm hole in the relay case ,then soldered the wire on the track inside the relay for the extra pin .. JOB DONE Better than pushing it under the terminal any day! http://www.evo-host.co.uk/getimg/30976.jpg You might guess im a sparkie by trade so dont like crappy connectors everywhere...
