SLEEMAN
They sort of do but don't. They held on there just by one bolt and being placed on the disc lol was considering upgrade calipers from willwood that are on eBay 6 pots! With standard 300mm discs
scottybo
more than the total cost of the car i imagine though lol
SLEEMAN
Maybe lol but could be worth it but that's when I get a more powerful engine like an st170 on jenvey a with extras
Ahmotorsport
Maybe lol but could be worth it but that's when I get a more powerful engine like an st170 on jenvey a with extrasThe Focus race car we run has nearly 300BHP and used to run standard ST170 calipers. Only upgraded to Wilwood 6 pots because they were going cheap.
Stu
Come on bud you can do better than that they go for more than double that on eBay! You know you wanna offer me £200 and I'll make it next day delivery! The Fiat/Pug ones go for about 120-150. Focus RS ones tend to go higher, which is funny as they're not quite as good! scottybo
id say stick with the 300s up front, change to discs for the rear and get really good quality discs and pads, id say that be more than sufficient if u ever read fast ford u will see how little attention people put into brakes, there was an escort rst in there the other day running big power, black one, mondeo v6 brakes up front and standard rears......super big power cosworths on standard brakes its sickening lol

SLEEMAN
just made one change to the car recently: http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i220/sleeman20/My%20Car/null-3-1.jpg yeah tailgate sold to escortlew for reasons of course he needed one and I'm gonna be getting a lightweight version! also recent purchases http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i220/sleeman20/My%20Car/null-4-1.jpg st170 rear disc conversion with some: http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i220/sleeman20/My%20Car/null-9-4.jpg puma racing rear axle spacers so that should set the rear track out just fine and the combination of spacing out with the st170 hubs but will compensate that by adding hubcentric spacers on the front. also http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i220/sleeman20/My%20Car/null-5-1.jpg rear axle poly bushes and http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i220/sleeman20/My%20Car/null-6-2.jpg rear anti roll bar so that should sort the rear out I would hope lol, the anti roll bar is going to be an experiment to see if it does help with traction if not i'll bin the idea. but to fit it all I have to do is slightly modify my rear beam with a couple of holes and nuts lol and also braking should be sorted too with the combo breaking power of an st170 as I have now sold the brembos to stu!
