SLEEMAN
i will be riveting on the arches after I sorted them out then I will bond them on using the same stuff that vw use to bond on the door skins to a golf mk5 then I will smooth them in! SLEEMAN
been doing some more work on the car again, removed the fuel tank http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i220/sleeman20/My%20Car/null-1.jpg there it is http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i220/sleeman20/My%20Car/null-2.jpg standard suspension on the rear bolted on as I sold the coilovers http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i220/sleeman20/My%20Car/null-3.jpg arch gap yo! haters gonna hate! hehe! http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i220/sleeman20/My%20Car/null-4.jpg http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i220/sleeman20/My%20Car/null-5.jpg http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i220/sleeman20/My%20Car/null-6-1.jpg http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i220/sleeman20/My%20Car/null-9-3.jpg recent track tyre purchase! kumho semi slicks! had been round a few times but still got plenty of tread left! so these will do on a good bone dry day! apparently these are better than toyo r888's? hmmmm will have to find out one day when its up and running! lol http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i220/sleeman20/My%20Car/null-10-3.jpg standard suspension on the front, only reason why I am putting standard suspension on so its easier to jack up, and also whilst transporting it around to bodyshops when I get the bodywork fixed makes it easier and so coilovers won't get ruined! http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i220/sleeman20/My%20Car/null-11-3.jpg also test fitted the brembos on the focus st170 discs, don't fit but damn looks good! I would need discs that sit further inwards by about 5mm, and hub mounts to be modified to fit the calipers or a custom mounts so i'm debating the brembos for now, maybe I'll be considering billet calipers for lightness and alloy bells etc. so options lads what ya think I should do? http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i220/sleeman20/My%20Car/null-12-3.jpg heres how close the st170 disc is http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i220/sleeman20/My%20Car/null-13-2.jpg

SLEEMAN
they aren't they are from a Peugeot 406 coupe v6, the brackets were close but too close and looks like a lot of work. and the adaptors yes they are available but unsure if they do one for 300mm as I want to keep 16's

SLEEMAN
They are just universal fibreglass ones. Just going to rivet them on after I cut out the rust and seal it up
JC
Those kumho's are awesome, but they don't last as long as r888

Stu
SLEEMAN - any chance I could borrow one of those brembos to do some mocking up on my car? (or sell them to me?)
SLEEMAN
I can sell them to ya buddy! I think the brembos are gonna be overkill on the braking for what my car will weigh and how much power it will produce. So my 300mm set up and st170 with updated carbon pads and decent discs should do it! So name your price my man!
