You can't beat a good seat for increasing potential cornering speed, or some good harnesses for that matter!

 

Must admit im not a fan of the big, wrap-around hooped seats. They look abit OTT in anything south of a rallycross car to me, much prefer the style you've gone for.

 

I think this'll be abit of a weapon when you've finished her

wrc replica versions made from fibreglass apparently, even though they have been made with some weave of some sort and they are stupidly light with the mirror glass in there too!

 

i'm sure they will fit fine but if not i'll just blend them in the doors maybe!

quick brief; part assembled the throttle bodies, stripped all wiring loom out of the car and may sort it all out and cut off what i don't need, test fitted bucket seat, fitted most of roll cage, fitted standard inlet manifold to run it on standard so i know the engine works when i sort the wiring out, and also inspecting what bits need welding lol!

 

also which bumper would be best for track use on 16 inch wheels still undecided

I think I should my dear boy! Lol, but still got a lot to do! Gotta send it to a proper bodyshop to get the sills and rear chassis leg worked on properly and then new roof skin etc etc list goes on and on

the first set of mirrors that I bought were not good at all didn't even fit! so getting a refund and bought a set of these bad boys

white gell carbon fibre wrc proper fitted versions!! and so trial fitted them to the car.....

also working on the arches but looks like I may just have to cut them out instead!! loads of filler on the passenger side rear one!

and got the whole rear jacked up and rear suspension removed so I can sell on the koni suspension (currently on ebay now starting bid £80! if anyone would like to make me a cash offer maybe lol!)

 

and upon inspecting most of underneath looks like a trip to a proper bodyshop to get a lot of welding done boo!

I bought some universal wide arches

 

now you maybe thinking why? 2 reasons...... one this:

this has occurred on both rear arches! GREAT! the one above is on the driver side, and the passenger side is shown above in a previous update.

 

and reason number 2, they are going to be useful if I need to use wider slicker tyres so will need spacers so they won't scrub on the suspension but that's later on but now I brought out the masking tape:
