Rockerrob666
i've got then on the side lights. i tried them on the brake lights, indicators etc, but the current different caused havoc, the indicators flashed at double speed - couldn't be bothered faffing with resistors so i went back to normal bulbs
Craig855S
I tried LED tail lights but hated them and quickly got rid for 2 reasons 1. It was made up of 9 LEDs but very quickly 8 of them blew up so only 1 dot of red light was showing out of my lens2.Even when they were fully working it only put out a circle of light rather than making the whole segment of the light cluster glow red I feel LEDs really are the future (in every aspect of lighting from the home to cars and even industrial use) but the cheap aftermarket ones you put in place of standard bulbs in cars that werent designed for it just arent up to it yet IMO

shawdreamer
I played with the idea of converting all the rear lights to stripped LED clusters but after several hours of dismantling a set of spare rear units and setting up all the various led strips to work the various functions..... I got bored and the lots sat at the back of my car storage cupboard alongside a set of unfinished smoked angel eyed headlights and a half finished evo 9 scooped mk5b bonnet .
