dansGTI
I cannot believe how worthless Escort mk6's have become! I'm not selling it for £400!! So about time I sorted it out! 4 years stood outside and I feared it would be ruined. Charged the battery and starts first turn of the key. Washed the moss off, took ages, then cracked the porter cable out and I'm astonished at the results. I think the polish that was applied years ago has helped keep the paint looking like this. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v195/danielayto/72B669CE-14F8-4873-BFC8-B8B16FB52F33-159-0000000562CE0755.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v195/danielayto/B20B48C3-6980-49E6-AB19-474C002F031D-159-0000000571812CBE.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v195/danielayto/FE71A3EC-ECD7-4FDF-8C8A-F8D96C88AF0A-159-0000000578CFEF15.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v195/danielayto/31287EDE-807B-470B-A062-EC54795B4D4A-159-000000057F4F7B77.jpg

Escort Si-130
You need to loose the Golf GTI badge and get a proper mk6 GTi badge. This one stuck on seems to make it look like a replica.

dansGTI
Right little update. Bit more detailing to get the paint back. It will need some bodywork doing at some point in the future, there's some bits I'm just unhappy with. But, I want it back to being a complete car. So first job was get a black bumper, add the old Laguna splitter back on and bolt it on. The keen eyed will notice I've got rid of the morrettes. I'm not sure about this yet. To make the front end a bit different, added an RS grill. Unsure about this too!! Cleaned up the brakes a bit with a brush, and going to let a few little runs clean them up. I'll have to inspect them after to look for serious pitting, hopefully they're ok. Now, wheel choice. Unsure again! Mind was set on EsCos wheels or RS7's, but I've done that before. I've been very into my VW's, and I do love a bbs wheel, so I've bought some. The jury is out, I'm really unsure. They need smaller tyres to get them to tuck in a bit. So that's the next thing. Added amber side reps back on too, and removed all the window tints too! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v195/danielayto/F04E3DD4-296B-4B69-A042-5DA9827DAAF2-5836-0000055AB3B2E702.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v195/danielayto/E7F84DBE-81E4-4351-811F-07694D4D98F5-5836-0000055AAA2A59F1.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v195/danielayto/D9891817-CA7B-4EE8-B697-0E50D5F6BBBA-5836-0000055AA3B5E550.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v195/danielayto/D3B937E7-F563-45BA-8745-B59E1157DA53-5836-0000055A9C0D624B.jpg
