Andy 3i
After a few months of hunting for a 3 door in amparo blue this little gem popped up on eBay so I 'popped' to Liverpool which is about 3 hours away and after a look round it I paid the man £600 of the finest queens English and drive it back home. Didn't get back until 3 in the morning but it was worth it . Getting up for work in 3 hours time was a struggle mind you. Anyway...heres the only pic I took on the way home http://i985.photobucket.com/albums/ae339/boomshine57th/BF781D6D-07AC-4C88-AAFC-6EC16AEC2F1B.jpg First mod was a Laguna splitterhttp://i985.photobucket.com/albums/ae339/boomshine57th/E23EC9E9-8C0E-4D78-B31F-6B50B5931F3D.jpg And these are just to show how clean this car is:http://i985.photobucket.com/albums/ae339/boomshine57th/EFEB67B5-EA36-476E-BD41-CAE0F83C6042.jpghttp://i985.photobucket.com/albums/ae339/boomshine57th/FC5D9FC7-F4F3-4AC6-B06A-DA128DDDBAB4.jpghttp://i985.photobucket.com/albums/ae339/boomshine57th/4934BB47-61DD-4681-AD8E-C0004CF7F903.jpghttp://i985.photobucket.com/albums/ae339/boomshine57th/4934BB47-61DD-4681-AD8E-C0004CF7F903.jpghttp://i985.photobucket.com/albums/ae339/boomshine57th/A666E74A-4AFE-43C0-B890-120048E75E48.jpghttp://i985.photobucket.com/albums/ae339/boomshine57th/7C44990B-AE3E-4551-BE8D-56563B2AB888.jpghttp://i985.photobucket.com/albums/ae339/boomshine57th/82771BB9-3FC3-4CC4-A5D5-6673DC3A0D8B.jpghttp://i985.photobucket.com/albums/ae339/boomshine57th/474E3B1D-2993-4B13-BF4C-A44B4AEDA7AE_1.jpghttp://i985.photobucket.com/albums/ae339/boomshine57th/696B491F-FA0F-46B8-9BEB-3D19ABC9BE9A.jpg It's a 52k one owner car with full ford service history and the only reason it was for sale was because the owner was very ill. The plans are: gti skirts and spats, rs beam, Mondeo fronts, lowered, cossie wheels and the 2.0 from my red one. As you can probably guess the old red one is going to be stripped and most of it transferred. The car is so genuine that I don't want to fiddle too much...nothing that can't be reversed hence the unoriginal mods. Hopefully I can get an update soon but until the better weather comes I can't start the big swap.

Hezz
Looks mint mate plans sound good, what wheels are going on it? A mate use to have a 5 door gti in that colour, its nearly as nice as auralis
Andy 3i
Cheers guys, yeah it was well worth the drive! I can't believe how tidy it is! It's even got a new ford battery. Wheel wise I'll be using the cossies off my red 5b. I wasn't too sure about the colour at first but it's growing on me!

Mik3ymk
if your stripping the red one and dont use the bonnet or head lights can i buy them
Andy 3i
It will be getting stripped...but I'm going to be after strong money for the lights because I bought them brand new from ford and have only been used for a few months. They cost me ludicrous money along with sidelights and fog lights. You got a mk5 ?
scottybo
i still recomend focus rear discs rather than rs beam....but then again iirc u already have an rs rear beam so dont listen to me lol

horizon
Looks great and does look clean. Again, if I had seen this and it was closer I would have snapped it up
Andy 3i
Mike, my old one is a 5b so the rear is pretty much the same as a mk6. Curiass and aural is are quite similar...if I didn't know they were different colours I wouldn't of noticed the difference. I was hardly close...was a 300mile round trip straight after work! That's dedication
