PeeWee
Rather than answer the various red faded paint questions asked in here, these are my results using rubbing compound, super resin polish & paste wax.http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b227/kwikfix/Detailing/DSCF1646.jpg http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b227/kwikfix/Detailing/DSCF1654.jpghttp://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b227/kwikfix/Detailing/DSCF1661.jpghttp://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b227/kwikfix/Detailing/DSCF1659.jpghttp://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b227/kwikfix/Detailing/DSCF1639.jpghttp://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b227/kwikfix/Detailing/DSCF1643.jpghttp://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b227/kwikfix/Detailing/DSCF1664.jpghttp://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b227/kwikfix/Detailing/DSCF1661.jpg Edited March 19, 2008 by PeeWee

M44K TS
I had my Accord machine polished and glazed as the paint had a fair few imperfections and wasn't smooth. No signs of fading though which i was surprised about as the car is a '99 model Here's a couple of pics of it next to my mates '04 CTR as a comparison (his had just had a front end re-paint too) http://images33.fotki.com/v1137/photos/1/1028410/5315831/IMG_1966-vi.jpghttp://images31.fotki.com/v1084/photos/1/1028410/5315831/IMG_1967-vi.jpghttp://images36.fotki.com/v1134/photos/1/1028410/5315831/IMG_1969-vi.jpghttp://images36.fotki.com/v1134/photos/1/1028410/5315831/IMG_1972-vi.jpghttp://images36.fotki.com/v1134/photos/1/1028410/5315831/IMG_1973-vi.jpg I love red cars when they're clean and have a deep shine, but damn it, they're a bitch to keep clean, worse than black! onehotminute_191
my mate has an old astra thats red and faded so much he's afraid to even wash it. he thinks that t-cutting would take the paint straight off but im not too sure. what you think? is it worth a go? i didnt think that fading would take take that much to cut it down to good paint?
