JC
Loads of good work going on still, fair play to you chasing that MOT, for me I want a strict MOT tester wouldn't want a death trap!
GHanson2009
I've had a "blind" mot done once in the past, But i had a strict one done first so i knew it was 100% Safe. it kept failing due to having no cat, but that was the only thing on there... But theres a "missed thing" and a doubt right bent and dangerous MOT.

GHanson2009
Well decided to postpone work until sunday as i've got a birthday party tommorow and its also my brothers birthday so... instead i decided to buy myself some more fiberglass, some more paint and a new roof impeller (sp?) So i can get my power hood working again *Rock On!* So anyway, i spent the day sanding down my RS2k Wheels, removing all of the corrosion & paint, and now there almost ready to be painted
Danzetec
Like the progress this is making, think I prefer that mk5 splitter to the usual mk6 one
GHanson2009
Like the progress this is making, think I prefer that mk5 splitter to the usual mk6 one Thanks Dan, and yes i believe the mk5 one looks ALOT better it sits further out from the bumper but still maintains the standard height which is good becausea) You can still have a laguna splitter without it being patheticly low!b) You can still drive the damn thing without worrying about the thing snapping off on a stone lol. GHanson2009
Thats bad news about the brake lines fella, hope its sorted soon, and have there arse for the motGuess what... the MOT Station has gone bankrupt! TYPICAL! how did i know that was coming? both the garage i bought it from and the MOT station have gone bump... so im not very happy now, I've got a full MOT on it now that i had done yesterday. Im not toooooo bothered as my plans are to rebuild this thing totally but it still takes the pee that they did it in the first place, If i bump into the guys i bought it off again they will be knowing about it! Anyway started painting my wheels today
GHanson2009
Small update.... Firstly a pic of my younger bro thinking he's cool in the sun... lolhttp://fordfenatic.com/red2/20092009092.jpg And my wheels (Old = Left obviously...)http://fordfenatic.com/red2/20092009093.jpg New 260mm Brakes...http://fordfenatic.com/red2/21092009095.jpgThese will be coming off soon and being swapped for Cossie/Mondeo V6 300mm Disks (To fill the wheels nicely!) No progress pics really, half way through (after id already fitted my shocks onto the other cabby i realised some n00b has done a spring chop) so here is mine regretably on chopped springs... Although it drives quite nicely im NOT keeping it this way, the guy i bought the other cabby off told me they were RS2k Shocks/Springs Comparison Old on the right... New (Chopped) on the Left...http://fordfenatic.com/red2/21092009094.jpg And waiting for the suspension to settle but here's mine in its current stance....http://fordfenatic.com/red2/21092009102.jpg I really dont understand WHY these springs have been chopped, firstly they have only cut off the tightly wound top coil... Which has lowered it by all of errm, well 5mm? lol total n00b imo of whom i wont be doing business again! lol
