TBH at this stage I have done it mainly for aesthetics. When I get around to some bucket seats that will help save a little more weight, I may not have saved much but every little helps.

Plus I am building this car so that I can enjoy it on the track, so why not :P

A half roll cage complete with far more substantial strut brace

;)

Aye when I get a cage sometime in the far future, I want something far more stable than your show cage :P Think along the line of Sparco/OMP/Safety Devices.

come on now you can strip it out better than that! door cards off, carpet all out no centre console, id say no dash, just tidy up the wiring behind it and mount the dials with couple of brackets, head lining out, then you can say you stripped it out! lol

Also got a front strut brace from a cabby which was fitted just before Ford Fair.

And while I had a screw driver handy I changed my interior door handles to brushed aluminum ones from a Puma.
