LiamGTR
Since somebody on here is selling some ST wheels I thought i'd google them and try them on... http://img11.imageshack.us/img11/3111/wheelskv.jpg And I did try them black but they looked poop, so put my personal favourite Team Dynamics on...and in comparison i'm starting to think if I do go for the ST's...to keep them silver! What do you think? And yes, before you start....I know it needs lowering and that's coming soon! Edited October 16, 2009 by LiamGTR
shawdreamer
IMO black only works if its set off by another colour around the outer edge of the rim, wether that be chrome/polished lip or tyre tape. otherwose the alloy just tends to blend into the rubber and lose its focal point. caled
You could try them white?

hicksy
Leave the 16's on put some lower profile tyres on and lower it (Y) http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w200/tomhicks1/Gti/DSC00967.jpg they were my 16's with 205 45 16 tyres, and the car was lowered 35mm
LiamGTR
The fronts already are /40 but the backs are /55 I think so look huuuuge in comparison! and they still have loads of tread left aswell so would be stupid replacing them and wasting about 4-5mm of Eagle F1 tread The car is going down, 40mm to be precise Although RO55 advised me to bring the rear up to only 35mm as it gets "arse saggy" when you lower it for some reason But that Escort looks so nice and clean not a cm or rush anywhere! massivewangers
Black can look very good, but I'd be tempted to go anthracite on that colour car. Anthracite multispokes, a drop and some big brakes would look pretty angry IMO. White is just rubbish on every level on 99% of cars, and silver doesn't seem to suit as well somehow for me. LiamGTR
Hmm so seems you lot don't agree with the black...nice....that means i'll do it and have my very own "unique" car that everyone hates but I love

massivewangers
One day, people will wake up and realise coloured rims look toss. Roll on that day Black or anthracite will make it look aggressive, and tie in with the dark lights

massivewangers
Win win then, dark wheels it is! I just think anthracite looks a bit cooler, and would suit your car better
