I quite like em but I'd be put off cos of the poss water ingress :)

 

as long as the engine didnt suck up any water it wouldnt make any difference at all if it got wet. bike engines get soaked att the time

Bike engines are designed to get wet ;)

 

On my old escort I had cossy vents in,the k&n cone filter was right under the vent and ran fine but you do need to clean it abit more.

with having a sealed air box it wont make a diffrence at all.

even with no vent the wires and all the engine gets wet any way because of the humidity etc.

whats different about the design. ive taken apart more bike engines than i have car and theyre all the same.

 

what about a landy? they dont have special engines

tax is due end of this month so she's off the road until next year....

Yep already secured a bottom end,only done 7k on rebuild,new shells,arp bolts lightened and balanced crank and flywheel.should be good.

mondeo front brakes

focus rear

puma dash

ka interior bits

 

good old fords, any old bits will fit from any old model!

 

thats what we love about them lol so many improvents can be made so easily by taking parts from other models! like a grown ups meccano set! But I like the fact that theyre so basic to start with, gives you an almost blank canvas to work on!
