lee grout Posted August 6, 2013 Share Posted August 6, 2013 (edited) At the front it just rests under where the piece of rubber trim sits over the bulkhead. At the back I made a long length of perspex (inch tall....ish) And secured it using the four screws you can see in the pic, into the scuttle ( gold......although soon will be black!) With that in place, I wedged up the main 2 pieces and used black silicone along the joint. Once it had gone off I removed the whole thing and filled in behind with a load more black silicone. Think its better to be a bit flexible rather than rigid. Especially for removing purposes to get to the battery. Also where the join is, I glued on a tab onto the driver side piece for the other to rest on. Keeps the joint level so it looks neater.
