best way is using the original mounting plastic plates but chances are you wont have them (which is entirely the norm).

 

therefore your best using tigerseal and screws through the mounting holes

Aaron riveted mine in on the underside of the bumper so you can't see them, and on the side.

take the bumper off as its much easier to do, i detailed it somewhere in my progress thread

I used a couple of trim screws and the original clips when i refitted mine to my old GTi, geniune ones are far easier to fit too

 

And they arnt splats, they are spats
