That's a massive help. I had googled for ages but found fcuk all. Looks like they are for 312mm discs though, which is a relief.
sidrick
S2 front hubs arrived today and confirmed that the caliper carriers are as useless as the calipers that came with them. Internet sellers...... thumbs down. Hubs are a fair mess but will be tip-top after some wire wheeling and elbow grease: http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p89/adolftitler/SDC13171.jpg http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p89/adolftitler/SDC13172.jpg
sidrick
Good and bad day. Got in the right calipers (Audi A6 items): http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p89/adolftitler/HPIM3909.jpg Hoses and carrier bolts (Both genuine Audi, hoses are A6 rear items): http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p89/adolftitler/HPIM3910.jpg However, I've noticed a hole on the O/S inner wing and what I think must be the fuel pump is whining like a bitch Edited August 12, 2011 by sidrick
caled
Christ, something else for you to do. German cars, eh? You know what they say "if it's not one thing, it's your mother". You'd only get bored if it didnt break every so often (no pun intended). Ok, Im done.
sidrick
Lol, other than a sticky caliper, it's never broken I think the fuel pump will be another job for my Polish mechanic friend, as although it's meant to be an easy job, I always prefer professionals dealing with the fuel feed rather than myself. I should be able to get a Bosch one at cost price, hopefully.
sidrick
Fuel pump seems fine after actually putting some petrol in it. /ultramegapalm

sidrick
Thanks. In case anyone is interested, this is the change I will be making. Audi coupe hub system to A4 'hubless' system (bearings pressed into the disc). Hopefully these links will work, first time I've used google docs: Coupe A4
danposs86
I have keep dipping into this thread and see lots of photos of parts, are they on the car or are you going to slap them on all at once?
