Ahmotorsport
Just read all of this. Looks good! I also have to say i <3 shiney bits! Not one bit has been removed from my car that hasn't been cleaned and painted or had a new shiney bit haha! Any ideas on wheel choices?
Stu
I have the 312mm brake conversion on my A4. I HIGHLY recommend you get DS2500 pads for it. It's a truly awesome package.
Craig855S
Surely the OEM pads for that setup are pretty strong though? and wont cost a mint like DS2500s Edited July 21, 2011 by Craig855S

bluliz
Just to clarify, the current front hubs are 4 stud, and limit my brake and wheel choice. The S2 hubs are 5 stud, which is generally the modern VAG standard, opening up a world of possibilities. How are you converting the rears to 5 stud? Either Audi 100 or A4 2WD rears could do the trick, I think.

sidrick
huuuuge!!! what wheels have you got lined up? lol, they're a decent size considering standard Audi S2 disks are 278mm (I think)! Nothing lined up at the moment, but probably some cheap standard S2 16"s to start with before saving for something nice with a little dish on them. I'll probably have to face the shame of running different wheels front and back during the transition from 4 stud to 5 stud though

sidrick
Big boys arrived a couple of days ago: http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p89/adolftitler/SDC13151.jpg Fcuk! The eagle-eyed amongst you will notice, unless I'm being massively mongy, that these calipers are both for the same side! Hopefully the carriers aren't sided, as those are the only bits I need! **Thankfully they're not sided.
bongo
check were the bleed nipples are.
sidrick
They're definitely the same side, but like I said, I only wanted the carriers from them. If anyone can help identify the calipers I'd be much obliged. Marking on them are: (VW and Audi logos) ATE VL 581. Both have a 5 above the piston and one has 004\6, the other 078/7. I have a suspision they may be from a SEAT.
