bloody hell thats coming along nicely :thumb:

cheers fella,

gonna get stuck in again this week and get the bodywork back together, then start on all the wiring inside the motor.

last week while i was jacking up the car the jack failed before i had the axle stand in place (it was lying on its side under the car) and the car fell onto it. i didnt think anything off it at the time but noticed yesterday that theres a 1" hole in the passenger side floor where the bottom of the stand has pierced the floor, fcuking gutted as the shell was solid too. so 2moro i'll be welding that up and fixing a wee bit of the outer sill that hit the floor. times like this im happy i bought a MIG and learnt to weld or i would be paying out a fortune for people to help me out here.

im gonna leave the engine as it is until everything else is finished and then i'll sart ironing out all the wrinkles and get her running as good as i can before i add a few engine bits and heve her setup.

as per, comments welcome.

wee bit more done 2nite.

sadly the exhaust tone isnt as noticeable as i had hoped but we'll see when i get her on the road and may adjust the exhaust a tad. still need to adjust it to sit up and in a bit which i'll hopefully get done 2moro.

fitted the back bumper for the time being, started smoothing in the spats, added the arch round onto the rear bumper and did a bit more work on the skirts. they still need a load of work to get them smooth but its getting there slowly. body work is something ive never did alot of so this is all new to me (as you can see from the mess i make and then have to spend hours cleaning it up - like the amount of evostick ive got the arches bonded on with LOL!)

piccies..

not really followed this thread much, but that last pis looks awesome. love the turbo arches. and as kid said, like that the door has some arch. keep up the good work buddy :thumb:

Looking good pal!

cheers guys!

love the duel exit exhausts :thumb: crackin project :thumb:

cheers fella, ive always like the twin exhaust too so i had planned to build one.. then i bought a car with one on it so it saved a bit of work!

Looks ace, i know what you mean about making a mess and having to keep cleaning, its a fcuking nightmare. The piece on the door looks quality, it takes time but i think ther end result will be worth it. You will have yourself one unique motor :thumb:

cheers mate, aye its a pain, you spend 3 hours working on an arch and then have to spend another hour cutting off fibrelgass or whatever your bonding with.

im going to speak to a painter 2nite who has said he'll do the job cheap if im willing to do most of the work he tells me to do - which is exactly what i was looking for anyways! he's working on another car so i'll be able to see his work too which is always a bonus!

i meant to add on that last post about my idea last nite.

should i smooth in the bumpstrip lines? im not having bumpstrips and imo i think it looks unusual because you can tell theres supposed to be something there, so how about filling the lines in and making the door smooth?

anyone fancy chopping a silver motor with smooth door for me?
