reid
well actually been doing some work for the last few weeks so work on the car kinda ground to a halt. so last nite i stayed down till after 5am on my totty and fitted the engine http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh37/srj_mcsar/23042008976.jpghttp://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh37/srj_mcsar/23042008978.jpghttp://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh37/srj_mcsar/23042008977.jpg hopefully get it plumbed in and wired up before the weeks out. also got my digital dial fuel sender through, and some other toys for her. so its just a matter of time now, i dont need to spend any more money on her (except mot/tax/paint). a BIG thanks goes to dubs for all his help, much appreciated mate Edited April 23, 2008 by reid

reid
wee bit more done last night, got the rear beam off to finish the polybusing and get the bits of the underside that i missed sealed. also got the tank off and started changing the fuel pumps over, and got the engine water pipes plumbed in along with the power steering. then had to weld in some nuts as a bracket to hold the metering unit so it didnt sit on the gearbox. ive decided not to work the next few days and get tore into the car so hopefully get her running in the next few days then its full steam ahead! engine bay now,http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh37/srj_mcsar/27042008984.jpg FRST pump, mk5fez pump, mk6escort pumphttp://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh37/srj_mcsar/27042008983.jpg fuel tank and rear beam off.http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh37/srj_mcsar/27042008981.jpg and once again, cheers dubs Edited April 27, 2008 by reid
