Danzetec Posted February 24, 2012 Share Posted February 24, 2012 According to The Sun, Fast and the Furious 6 will spend some time filming in London this summer, but will then move to the Southend seafront in Essex for the rest of the shoot. Because the Olympics will be taking place in London this summer, some scenes for the movie have to be shot outside the city and producers decided the coastal town of Southend-on-Sea was the best choice. According to a source close to the film, “Southend will be perfect for The Fast And The Furious 6. The long stretches along the seafront means cars can travel at a fair pace and it will be easier to film.” Click for story Ok the sequels aren't as good as the original but I'll be watching this for sure when it comes out next year I'll be disappointed if it doesn't feature an escort cabriolet and an american actor doing an appalling cockney accent Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I thought the exact opposite, without Paul Walkers one mould suits all characters acting style I thought Tokyo Drift was a vast improvement. every time that bloke says "Bro" my teeth start grinding. as for FF6 on southend sea front..... chaved up shocking sordid coloured cars with underbody neon lights, big hedgehog launcher exhausts, spinners, sound systems that require a second mortgage to fund and lads driving them round like complete bellends.... ....all of them will need to be told to stay away during filming or they'll upset the actors and director. Don't they know when to quit.Sales / profit / audience numbers means they'll keep churning them out.. personally, I love the franchise, with my favourite being part 5, followed by the original.. 5, 1, 4, 2, 3.. I like the looks of the new sequel from what I've read.
