We collected on behalf of raw2k. We picture the cars, send images and damage report then it goes online. Anything cat a or b we usually get TBH. I'd guess this will be ours soon unless someone pays silly money for it.
shawdreamer
I'm not stunned by the state of it after a fire..... they weren't exactly up on "fire retardant" material use during the Mk1/2 production run what I am stunned by is the fact it was caused by an electrical fault..... The Mk1 in particular had less wiring than most modern mountain bikes, If they'd been any less technological the wheels would have been wooden and the headlights would have been gas flame lit. etrebus
Such a shame! Thought i'd share with you guys anyway!gutted for the owner ,10 years ago this would have definatly been scrap but now its probably worth doing as long as it hasn't twisted .one of mine caught fire and twisted shell looks like it was a pretty clean one too .mk1's go up very quickly as the seats are stuffed with hessian stuff that burns exceptionaly well. mine was all done in 5 mins
