Just had a set of splashguards nicked by City Link, so having another set sent out soon. fingers crossed they arrive! Have managed to paint the strut brace and put on some stainless steel done nuts over the pegs as well. Got ripped off for these by AS-Auto Specialists, as you can get these from Screwfix for £11 for a bag of 100. but I am looking at their mat black heatsheilds. Looking to get a stainless steel for the strut top to match (does anyone know what nut size this is? Should be getting those back on Monday all nice and shiny . I have also now finished the missus' table, so I can crack on with the side skirts, now thats out of the way. progress should be coming thick and fast now whilst I get the brakes sorted and the skirts and spats on. I think some one at citylink is currently stealing escort parts as a I had a genuine idle control valve go missing, their customer service is shocking! I phoned up to ask what had happened and why it hadn't been delivered and they said they would look. I phoned back half hour later to give them more info of what the parcel looked like and they had already declared it lost and told me to contact the seller for a refund. MyHermes have nicked a set of skirts, spats and a Lockwood lower grill from me (these are as rare as rocking horse poo now), someones gonna have a very nice motor for free!! Yodel chucked a mobile phone over the side gate, Hermes keeps nicking stuff, City link nicking stuff, RM are just useless. quite tempted to start driving around and collecting the stuff myself I will get this car sorted......I will get this car sorted.......I will get this car sorted! I think my old fiat would have just dissapeared in front of my eyes had it had to go up against a gritted road! would have arrived with just the chassis, seats and steering wheel! lol.
