Mike C
Are you going to do that before it gets painted Mike? Yes. The only thing that may need doing post-paint would be a few holes drilling at most.

Dean-o
Daft question, but is that for the whole roof, just that it looks a bit on the small size?
Mike C
Daft question, but is that for the whole roof, just that it looks a bit on the small size? It's definitely the whole roof, exactly the same piece as I took off, lol!

McRic
Mike if it's tiger sealed on then what give the rigity to the top of the car? As I believe the roof plays a large part in that or does the new fancy cage kind of take over for that purpose? Looks great btw

Mike C
As I believe the roof plays a large part in that The roof skin provides absolutely no rigidity whatsoever. It's just that, a skin. It's no different to a wing or any other cosmetic panel. My car is sitting now without the roof on, and (even speaking prior to the cage) it's 100% as stiff as it was before. As for a vent, I'm looking into the driftworks carbon vent, cutting in an opening aperture shouldn't be a problem.
