mexico_16v
I don't know what it does, but it looks cool, question, are you doing all the greasy work yourself? I'm not sure yet. I'll be stripping it down myself and building the new engine, but i'll probably enlist some help from a friend or two at various stages I do usually avoid the greasemonkey side of this stuff though.... Why's that? i love that bit

Why's that? i love that bit I don't really mind, it's just i've not had the workshop or tools to do it in the past, but now I do (well, the workshop I have, building up the tools slowly!), so I may get stuck in. Trig
I have a manifold in mind, but i'm not 100% sure what to do yet as the turbo has a divided input and ideally you'd run a manifold with a matching setup... I don't really want a tubular manifold though as they're unreliable. What options does that leave? I know tubular ones can fracture, which apparently is one of the reasons Ford used the cast one on the FRS (what I remember reading somewhere, might be wrong) It leaves cast ones.... there are 3 turbo manifolds made by Ford and one cast aftermarket one, which is what i'm contemplating.. Although i'm not really happy with the design of it...it looks a bit like the inlet manifold that I had on my old fiesta 1.1 mk3 carb model

Spoiler attempt #2 arrived too...... and no, it's not the right one, snarl. It's a cabriolet one but they're too wide for a saloon! I will be double confirming over the weekend.
