sidrick
illegal as hell aint they? Possibly, but they're easily read and the correct size. I wouldn't imagine I'll experience any bother.
sidrick
Nothing exciting today as, surprise surprise, it's raining. wwwd
Looking good mate, love the plates. Where did you get them from?
sidrick
Cheers, wwwd. Aye, it's progressing okay, just wish the weather was better so I could really crack on with the suspension. I suppose it was a stupid time of year to buy a project car though. I bought the plates from Crafty Plates through ebay, although I think they have their own website. They met all the criteria and they seem to be quality genuine pressed metal plates. The plate holders were again through ebay and I only got thjese ones as they didn't have the M-Power logos that aaaaaaaaaaaaaaall the other ones do. For the sake of £40 (20 for plates, just shy of 20 for holders) I'd recommend looking ino them for your E46. I'm surprised how much I like them. Just concerned about the legality of them though. Although they're surely just German standard aren't they so I couldn't see why there would be a problem. Is there space for the plate holders? I'll have to look at my E46.
Stu
The pressed metal plates are very far from legal.

As for legality - Obviously they're not by-the-book legal, but as I said, they're the right size and in a easily readable font with correct spacing. There won't be any issues while on the road. Just ask anyone that currently has them fitted. like Stu, lol.

escortjas
Sweet, this should look the tats when sorted. Are you thinking of doing anything with the alloys? Such as fitting some bbs splits that came on some of these modles. It would be modding, but all the insurers have to know is they are standard bmw rims.
