Audi S2 Coupe - 2.2 20v Turbo

Hunts for idle for the first minute or two, and it's making nowhere near power.

I'm not sure whether to start replacing sensors that are showing up on the diagnostics and hope that fixes it or just hand the car and a wedge of cash over to a specialist. I can't really afford a £1500 bill just now though.

Yeh, depends how much replacing sensors cost, if it cost you not alot might be worth trying before sending to

a specialist.

I saw something on my travels today, its been sat about for years and years!

It has no engine in it, and the engine seems to be in bits in the car.

Its made me kind of want one!

That's the late spec ABY engine (230bhp, individual coils) and it's got the ellipsoid headlights. Those Porsche brakes are worth a good few hundred too.

You should leave a note asking if they're selling. Worth about £2.5k breaking.

Its been sat there for years and years :( I think i know the owner, ill ask him about it when i see him next.

It was registered 1 week before your car 1/03/1991, and is a 3B like yours :)

Wow, so it is! Someone's went to a lot of expense/effort getting the ABY wheels and ellipsoids.

Can you also ask if the distributer is available?

Get it bought hicksy!

Ive spoken to the chap that has it, it belongs to a customer of his. It threw 2 rods out the side of the block a little while ago and is being slowly rebuilt, its almost ready to be put back in the car. Its the kind of car i could see myself having one day!

I had hoped to come home to a pile of goodies that I'd ordered for the S2 and give you some nice pictures. Instead, I picked up a new accelerator pedal from Audi and went to the Burger King drive through. Window goes down, I get my food, window goes back up....... erm.... window goes back up? Shite.

Looks to have been water ingress into the door and the regulator has seized.

Obviously it had to be raining today. Cut the drive wire and have tie wrapped it in place :(
