mine was an ex bt van, paid £100 notes for it, ran it for about 8 months then it got written off when a deer ran in front of me at 60 mph, van stopped almost instantly, deer was killed and van was fubared.

not this one but one like it, it even had a crank handle to start it when battery died..if you look at the centre of the front bumper you can see the hole to put handle into.

My fist car was a Vauxhall Nova 1.2, 3 days of passing my test bang, head gasket went in town rush hour lol.

 

Still one of the most fun car ive driven, just for the fact it was a go kart. My friend had an identicle age nova, same sort mods, yet when we "raced" (if you can call it that n one of those) mine just whipped his every time. Something was done to that engine. Be it the head or something?

 

It was in some horrid green colour. And i had a women plough into the side of me while driving in a supermarket car park. Then the day after the insurance inspector had been, i put it into a garden wall in terrential rain lol.

 

Still worked fine! tracked straight and true, lol

 

Ended up taking the engine out and putting it in my mates nova when his blew up.

erm, think my first car I actually bought to drive and use was a Mk2 Capri in two tone brown and gold, me and my dad used to buy, fix-up, sell on and to avoid the taxman the cars would alternate in ownership each time but that Capri I bought and fixed up with the intent on keeping it for my first car... that or the volvo 540 we were also working on and lets be honest... A volvo as a first car????
