i would get the round headlights for it as they work better than squares based on my dads mk1 which had square ones and he swapped to round.

 

other than that looks ace and Zetec sounds good

 

that is because the the square headlights in the mk1 use an old round bulb where as you can get replacement round headlights to be used with H4 bulbs such as ones on minis as they are the same i dont think it makes a difference on the mk2's

Bongo: yeh I'm well gutted I have to lose the Rs now now, but needs must :(

I to this very day cannot fathom why ford or any other manufacturer ever thought beige was the way to go.

 

The Mk2 Capri I had came with biege interior, twas the first thing to go as it reminded me of my neighbours Leyland Princess that had a brown and biege interior that looked like a dairrhoea ridden infants arse had exploded in the back seat.

 

not 100% sure if it was the mk2 escort that had them but I saw a set trimed in black and chequer.... looked smart.

My Dads Mk1 Cortina GT had this, he said he painted it with leather black paint or something or other? xD
