and for all those people goin on about driveshafts... not 1 cv boot was touched, drain the gearbox oil, released the hub away from the shock, lower arm and trackrod, then undone the brake line, and with ralph pulling on it, and me levering the shaft (complete with both cv joints attached) away from the gearbox. easy! :thumb:

 

 

please tell me it wasnt just you that came up with that :roll:

and guys how come you only got as far as you did in 2 days with god knows how many of you there :roll:

 

if i could afford it i'd come down the weekend to finish off :pancake:

Spot on mate :) Also Ged was the only one who knew half of what he was doing! None of us wanted to touch the driveshafts, so we'd only work on the orion, because the escort was already stripped down to linkage, 'shafts, and mounts :cheers:

 

Now we've done it all before, I'm sure we'll progress like a fisting badger on crack! :thumb:

well i had no other choice, the hub nut wasnt coming off by any means, plus we didnt have the right tools, so i had to improvise :cheers:
