Kirsty
Anyway, this clearly isn't my thread any more, but i will mention that i've started the proceedings and am going for a third party claim using my dad's mate's bodyshop. Will keep you posted have her insurance company approved the bodyshop? had their own independant assessor out? and if it is defo CIS i wish you all the luck in the world, especially if you deal with their stoke office! scort_mk5b
gutted for you chappers, was one of the best modified escorts ive ever seen. as for what foxdie has been saying i agree. insurance companies are complete money grabbing c**ts. after paying over the odds to put the mods on the insurance when i do need to claim they said they would give me 300 for the stuff what was nicked the first time (stereo was insured for 2k and has contents insurance and ipod + 50 cds were in car) but would lose all 7years no claims my mum has so didnt bother as would bump insuracnce up probly more than 300 . then when the wheels were nicked 2 weeks later they said i agreed a 500 excess when i insured the mods so if i did claim basicly i would lose the noclaims and they would give me 50quid. so get as much as you can out of them as they do the same to you anyway back on topic

Guest gti.tom
I'm sorry but three very quick things. Chappers, first, a real shame to see a good unique and tasteful example damaged. Two, foxdie, i know it wasnt you personally, but you leave youre navigator out, youre immediately a bit of knob, in today's society (not perfect) its gonna get stolen. Partly his fault in my opinion. I wouldnt put my plasma tv in my front room window. And im sure you wouldnt leave a tom tom in your window. Third and final, youve gone a bit far with claiming for the laptop under the seat bit, as in criminal offences to far, you arent just lying to the insurance company, you'd be lying to the police, perverting the course of justice (you could quite easily wreck a case against someone if they got nicked with a navigator, well where's the laptop mate? dont bullshite me now bla bla bla). Anyway you're main offence, Obtaining property (in this case, cash) by deception. Imprisonable offence. Bum sex for all. By all means claim for real things, damage and injuries, but blatant lying, dishonesty, thats poor. I disagree with excesses etc.
