Lee_2f2f
To me, This would look far better on your car than the Plates you have purchased. http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a134/2f2fescort2f2f/l19mtp.jpg i'll be keeping these though for in the future incase I ever buy a car that looks nice with short plates. I put my ones off the Truck on the Wall around the huge photo I got of the truck at Santa Pod a few months ago. Sort of like a Memorabilia of the truck so to speak. ---------------- On a help note, the way that guy has kindly screwed directly into the metal with your numberplate on the boot, put vasoline on the holes, it helps deter rusting and basically rotting your boot. hicksy
looks horrible the recess needs to go only way that will work is with a smooth boot and bumper. looks bodged on halfords style. and i do believe the plate has to be a specific size as well, my parents got warned about their motorbike ones as they need to have the correct sized plate border and numbers. ruined a good looking standard car ps there still illegal as they must show where thay were made and have the barcode thing on them Im 99% sure thats only if the car is after 2001, so liam is fine. I like the private plate, ive got one myself and i like the size of the plates, i was thinking about getting smaller ones, but couldnt be arsed with removing the tape from the old plates on my bumper and boot lol
scottg17
Im sure youll be fine, I have had plates on my last 3 cars from fancyplates.com and never had any bother, So long as you are not taking the pee with silly fonts ECT i dont think many coppers would give you any hassle. mines have a STD font and size,Black Border, with SCO, scotland flag, and the eu stars.and has focus 2.0 on the bottom right

If it has replacement plates they need to meet the current regulations IIRC.
