Why not get a van and park it round the corner???

This is the best solution....

it's not, because it will quite probably inconvenience somebody else.

hmmm, I remember an old pick up owner that thought he'd park outside my house every night....................new tyres every week get expensive!

I take it he wasn't on the public road and blocking your drive?

yes he was on the public road, and no he wasnt blocking my drive, and yes, he had road tax. Its about respect. Maybe i'm just too respectful....

Then sorry I don't see the inconvenience it was toward you, I obviously don't know the full facts here or why you took it upon yourself to slash his tyres.

I'm guessing he's also a bit soft in the head as I can assure you, you would of only done this once to myself.

It's not that I agree to him parking outside your house, and yes it's quite cheeky. I just think slashing his tyres was quite extreme (especially as you insinuate you done this on multiple occasions).

I wonder why he chose your house instead of outside his own house.

I would of preferred to see you shiny George lorry outside his house though lol.

I think dude was possibly playing with the truth for dramatic effect, I doubt he did slash his tyres.

I never said I slashed his tyres!

no playing with the truth either :)

I lived in a tight cul-de-sac where everyone had mutual respect to the point if you couldnt park on your drive or on the curb outside your own house, you would park round the corner outside nobodies house! No this idiot, he wanted to park on the curb outside mine and my neighbours house every night. I'm sure I put a pic up on here years and years ago of my parking my old GTi on the bumper of a Corsa owned by the next person who lived in pick up mans house when it parked there instead!

found it.......shame the pic has gone :(

They just had too many vehicles, and as a result me and my neighbour were expected to lose the privilege of parking outside our own houses. Wasn't happening!

You don't have any rights or privileges above anyone else on parking on the street outside your house. We all pay road tax and council tax!

I agree. But don't people have respect anymore???

When I visit people I would never ever park outside someones house (unless its a terraced on street parking type thing). I'd rather walk 10 mins from parking somewhere where it isnt in anyones way!

Typically not, from my experience. The human race is going down to the toilet.

You're mixing with the wrong crowd then or you're too much of a cynic.

i'm with stu on this one, some people expect something for nothing and have no respect for others and society is getting worse for it

The good far outweigh the bad still!

Problems are arising now as you have scrotes parenting children so they get very little teachings in civil behaviour and basic values seeing as they had none themselves to start with.

I must admit to hating the taring with the same brush that some do, I have seen teenagers getting a raw deal from extremely rude elderly people.

But maybe this is far better discussed in another thread rather than here.
