Lee R Posted August 7, 2007 Share Posted August 7, 2007 As soon as i got to silverstone on sunday all i could think of was having my car there & being able to take it round the track, so now i've decided to spend more money on it and get it looking a performing even better, was thinking cyclone kit, will see how it looks with standard bumpers first then if i don't like it's gonna go wrc route.... would like a change of backbox, full avo suspension setup & probably a full respray in the same colour but with a bit of lacquer.... will try & keep it around 3k My little "selling it " phase is over. that ALWAYS used to happen to me a week later, I wanted to sell it again. Your 9 is upside down though! £900 still a bargin, its 1600 XR2 carb engine, IIRC stage 2 head (or at least stage 1) spax shocks gmax springs, 2wd cossie discs 4x4 calipers (though the pads are not worth a light now!) stupid side exit (owner two back decided to change it when it had perfectly good XR3i system before - a chap who attends the Colchester RS meet helped the original chap build it) RS1600i front seats, RS steering wheel - is a little slow on the straights, but is solid around the bends, people passed me then held me up slowing for the bends. toyos proxes tyres all round (the backs are a little worn as were previously on the front!) I really would like to keep it, but we both have a daily runner so the cossie not been out at all this year, its a case of one has to go, really not practical to use the Escort as an everyday car as well as for track Z Saw the sig and thought, damn , I made a pic of that one. Lamb Posted August 8, 2007 Share Posted August 8, 2007 (edited) Just to say it was great actually my first time on a major stand at a major event,was great to actually drive In to the show instead of parking up least pple got to see the LAMBMOBILE in the flesh Wonder honestly what you guys thought of the car in the flesh/metal COMPARED TO PHOTOS ETC ? got lots of pics not many of cars just girls near cars Met mainly vampire, and youngblod aswell as Bluliz and SI & Elfy these were the main people spoke to at the show and was nice to put a face to the name as well as seeing the EVO members cars in the flesh aswell .
