I'd lose the badges, not sure if its the angle of the photo but the escort badge looks squint.

Colour code the number plate surround too.

I de-badged my Ghia X and fitted body coloured rear lights (Pepper Red) and it looked nice

cheers - thats what i was thinking. escort badge isnt straight - did it in the dark so was going to re-do it anyway.

also mines a GTI beater in terms of power :D

*Sighs*

i did have most power put of escorts at rolling road and all of us had 1.8 115 engines. GTI's and Si's

Fair play for your effort, dont agree with neons thou i must admit but then again its your car etc.

have you sorted the rust on the passenger side as seen in a pic?as thats the first thing i would have done before mods :)

you mean the arches - yeah they were done (hence the matt finish on offside rear quarter) but need re-doing. 1 paints shite (done on drive way) and 2 the rusts creeping back.

will get sorted along with everything else. anyone know of a good place for gear linkage bushes as mine are not working well :P

without sounding funny why didnt you just have the arches done properly in the first place?

As bog jobs look tatty.Key to a mint escort is rims,Subtle mods, and very good paintwork. After that maybe more power ie 2litre.

my dad did them and normally dont have problems - he did my corollas rust and the surface stuff on my sills which were all fine. just these.

future plans are full re-spray in original colour and get bit more power out of my 1.8. other plans will remain a secret :P
