Stu
Looks like your fuel pump would be dead with that fuse blown?
sidrick
Looks like your fuel pump would be dead with that fuse blown? It's maybe not too clear, but on that table the fuel pump is fuse S13 and the fault code causing valves on fuse S24.
sidrick
Had a day off today so put it to good use. Replaced the accelerator pedal with a new item. Pulled out the air con radiator and coolant expansion tank:http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p89/adolftitler/temporary-8.jpg http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p89/adolftitler/temporary-9.jpg http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p89/adolftitler/temporary-11.jpg Just a bit nicer :http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p89/adolftitler/temporary-12.jpg http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p89/adolftitler/temporary-13.jpg Went digging for the aforementioned fuse to check if it had blown. The fuse wasn't there at all! :| Stuck in a 10 amp fuse and cleared and re-read the fault codes. From 4.... to 1 http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p89/adolftitler/temporary-14.jpg
bongo
awesome news on the 3 faults, dont you wish everything was as easy as that, new tank looks good, but that radiator looks strange in that position lol.

hicksy
Good stuff!! That looks funny seeing the radiator there, im guessing its because the 5 pot is too long to have the rad front mounted?

It's difficult enough getting the engine in and out without one there :')
sidrick
awesome news on the 3 faults, dont you wish everything was as easy as that, new tank looks good, but that radiator looks strange in that position lol. Totally. I just stumbled upon the fuse info by accident and then it all kind of made sense. I'll see how it drives (waiting on my tax disc to come through and probably won't drive it until I get the new tyres fitted on Friday) but a 10a fuse is fantastic fix for something that otherwise could have been very expensive. The radiator location is a pain in the ass. There's not a lot of room in that engine bay!
scottybo
i wouldnt have thought the rad would get a great deal of air to it there, but i dont design cars lol and if i did they would probably be terrible

sidrick
Aye, 2l on the DVLA car tax website. Looks nice. Dunno how they open the bonnet since the handle is behind the grille and there's a cut-out on the standard one. Took mine out for a spin yesterday for the first time since getting the new tyres on and fitting thaty fuse. I got pulled by an unmarked police car..... so needless to say it's running pretty damn well Edited November 11, 2012 by sidrick
